No less than 1070 recently promoted cops in Sokoto state were on Tuesday embellished with their new positions by Mr. Ibrahim Kaoje, the Commissioner of Police (CP) in the express, and articulation by ASP Muhammad Sadiq, the order's advertising official said.
Sadiq said that those advanced contained 566 Sergeants elevated to the position of Inspectors, 313 Corporals elevated to the position of Sergeants, and 195 Constables elevated to the position of Corporals.
"The occasion trails the ongoing advancement of 82,779 faculty of the Nigeria Police Force by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Adamu.
"The Commissioner of Police, for the benefit of the IGP, praises those elevated and encouraged them to viably use their rank," he said.
Finishing the officials, Kaoje charged them to consider there to be as a sign of extra obligations and urged them to complete their task expertly and steadily, to check violations and other arising security challenges in the State.
