President Muhammadu Buhari has communicated "incredible stun and profound worry" over the emission of brutality in Gombe State emerging from the Billiri chieftaincy tussle.
Responding to the improvement on Sunday, President Buhari said: "I'm truly upset by the episode of savagery in Gombe State and approach the gatherings required to practice the greatest restriction to stay away from heightening."
As indicated by the President, "the simple hotel to brutality is inappropriate because there are sufficient roads to determine contrasts genially without undermining lawfulness."
He noticed that "surrounded by savagery, there are no victors, aside from washouts," encouraging Muslims and Christians to "evade the allurement of depending on brutality to communicate their complaints."
"Nigerians have shed sufficient blood over issues that might have been calmly settled. I appeal to the two gatherings to sheathe their swords for serene conjunction. Gombe has delighted in relative strict agreement for quite a long time and you shouldn't permit gangsters to annihilate this positive record," President Buhari engaged the quarreling parties.
