The inhabitants of towns along Damaturu-Maiduguri have shouted out over the continous assault propelled by Boko Haram guerillas against them, days after Governor Babagana Zulum yelled at troopers who he blamed for coercion.
One of the inhabitants of the network who addressed The Cable claimed that the officers left after Governor Zulum yelled at them, leaving them helpless before the psychological oppressors.
“The fighters have left and we are without anyone else now.
“Since that day that the senator yelled at warriors, it showed up every one of them left. After that day, there have been assaults on our towns on regular routine. Voyagers are being seized each hour and all the military barricades are no more there, in light of the fact that these assailants consistently abandon being gone up against by the military.”
Another inhabitant uncovered that many are leaving their networks in the zone, looking for security in Maiduguri and Damaturu.
“Residents in Auno, Jakana and Benisheik are escaping in their hundreds to Maiduguri. The guerillas assault at any rate twice day by day in these towns.
