the Southern Part Should Produce the Next President Ex-Zamfara governor said.

Ahead of 2023 general election sign of crisis started rocking the ruling party which probably has a connection with the presidential ambition of some party leaders.
Many Nigerians are expressing their views, former Zamfara State governor, Abdulaziz Yari said that” the southern part of Nigeria should produce the next president in 2023.
The Nation reports on Sunday, July 19 that Yari gave the assurance in a phone chat with the National daily newspaper.
According to the report, “Yari further tipped the national chairmanship position of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to go to the north. “As we have seen the nature of how our presidency will look like, it has to go South. The chairmanship may likely as well come to the North in preparation for that,” Yari said. However, Yari refused to tip which region exactly in the south will get the presidency. This, he said d, is to avoid offending the current leadership of the APC led by Yobe governor Mai Bala Buni’s caretaker committee”.

Ex-Zamfara governor Yari says APC will provide the 2023 presidency to the south.
The southern part of Nigeria is subdivided into the trio of southwest, southeast, and south-south.
On return to civil rule in 1999, the southwest produced Nigeria’s first president in Olusegun Obasanjo at the same time as the south-south formally produced Goodluck Jonathan, the predecessor of Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 well-known elections.
The southeast has no longer held Nigeria’s presidency since it became a totally functional office for ruling the country as empowered by the Republican constitution of 1963″.
Yari’s opinions just came after Buba Galadima’s view
He said “the leadership crisis rocking the party is because of the politics of 2023 presidency. Galadima said the powerplay within the ruling party has a big connection with the ambition of a few party leaders who want to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari after his tenure. In step with him, “APC national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu isn’t always the most effective one eyeing the seat of power in 2023 as he may also discover himself within the ring with top hierarchy members including Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna nation”.
